The Dieppe based Chris Brothers/Bonté Foods has announced it is launching 7 new deli meats to Atlantic retailers. “This is a major advancement in our product line” says President Michael Whittaker. The new products are primarily shaved deli meats. This is the company’s first launch of a shaved deli meat.
The ‘shaved’ deli meats are popular says Whittaker since they bulk up a sandwich and the natural flavour of the meats and our natural wood smoke process creates a beautiful flavour experience.
The meats include Montreal Smoked Meat, Roasted Chicken, Black Forest Ham, Roasted Turkey, and Pastrami. The company is also launching two styles of Bologna and a deli style yellow Mustard.
You will see these in all grocery stores hopefully over the next few months says Whittaker as more and more retailers add them to their deli shelves.
The company just recently launched a line of deli gourmet Dijon mustards which they have produced to their specs at a co-packing partner.
The Chris Brothers/Bonté Foods facility now has over 40 lines of deli products. When compared to the 8 they had ten years ago the growth one reason the company has been successful in winning so many recent awards including opportunities NB Exporter of the Year and Dieppe’s Business Excellence Award. Chris Brothers/Bonté Foods are also a finalist for the GMCC Business Excellence Award and the People’s Choice Award.
